These two cannon connoisseurs crouched in the lobby of the Benjamin Franklin Hotel, engrossed in a scale model of a Napoleonic cannon built by Howard Ferguson, Anacortes, and loaned for the exhibit to the Cannon Hunters Association of Seattle. The admirers were CHAOS officials who talked with pipe and cane forgotten. The oldest piece of some 30 on exhibit was a 1577 cannon dredged from the Hudson River and owned by H.W. McCurdy.
