"The launch YANKEE DOODLE of the Inter Island Navigation Company's fleet, assumed the mail run between Anacortes, the Islands and Bellingham. The boat has had a new 50-HP engine and otherwise fixed up for quick and reliable service during the winter. She is in charge of Capt. Bill Kasch and Capt. Kirk McLachlan."
