Bremerton gals leave the Federal Courthouse after receiving a 30-day suspended sentence for stowing away aboard a US Navy vessel here 13 March 1963. The women stowed away on the USS Kearsarge while in Bremerton and were discovered when the ship put into Bangor, Washington, for ammunition. They had help from some of the ship crew, who fed them peanut butter and bologna sandwiches.
